Our Facility

Built in 1993, the award-winning Clark State Performing Arts Center is situated on 5.5 acres in downtown Springfield, Ohio. The 86,000 square foot facility houses rental space that is designed and equipped to accommodate musical performances, theatre presentations, conferences, business meetings and other activities.

Kuss Auditorium

This state-of-the-art theatre seats approximately 1,500 with orchestra, mezzanine and balcony levels, including two levels of private box seating. The Kuss Auditorium is an ideal venue for concerts, community events and large corporate business lectures.

Technical Specs:

The Kuss stage proscenium is 55' wide with a stage depth of 44' and has two Strong Zenon Super Trouper follow spots.  The PAC has invested in upgrades that include a concert sound system, new and improved lighting equipment and an infrared listening system.

Turner Studio Theatre

This black box theatre, is a 200-seat studio theatre that offers an optimal setting for smaller dramatic productions, rehearsals, recitals, luncheons, lectures and academic instruction. The lobby of the Turner Theatre may be used as a reception area for these smaller gatherings.

Technical Specs:

The Turner dimensions are 47' x 57'. The theatre provides flexible seating configurations (i.e. end stage, thrust, in the round or cabaret). The dimensions will change depending upon the configuration that is chosen. The lighting grid is permanent.

Hall of Honor

This elegantly furnished conference space seats 16. A large conference table is at the heart of this room. Ideal for small parties, art shows and small receptions.

Davidson Grand Lobby

Our spacious grand lobby is the ideal for intimate parties, art shows and small receptions.

Community Rooms

Our Albert A. Salerno Educational wing is home to several community rooms. These rooms are equipped with operable walls that can enlarge or decrease the size of the area, and a kitchenette is adjacent. Ideal for small parties, art shows and small receptions.
