Joey and Rory

CMA Vocal Duo of the Year 2010 nominees, Joey and Rory, are honest, true-to-life country folks.  And as singer and songwriter, wife and husband, they are as genuine as they come. Joey grew up on country music with her father playing guitar and her mother singing. In 1998, she moved to Nashville to pursue her music career where she met Rory whose first song writing job was for legendary songsmith Harlan Howards publishing company. Since then he has penned chart-topping hits performed by Collin Raye, Blake Shelton and Clay Walker, to name a few. Joey and Rory's debut album, "The Life of a Song," quickly spawned a Top 30 hit with "Cheater Cheater" and in the blink of an eye the duo was everywhere…touring coast-to-coast and overseas. Their recent album, "Album Number Two," which garnered them a 2010 ACM Award for Top New Vocal Duo, is led primarily by Joey's honey-laden vocals and showcases their signature tongue-in-cheek style with the title cut "Thats Important To Me," a song that encapsulates the down-to-earth values that define Joey and Rory both as a couple and a duo alike. The deep connection they have doesnt just shine through their music, it's the reason their music shines.
