How to RentThe Clark State Performing Arts Center offers excellent facilities to accommodate many types of events. We have professional and experienced staff to answer your questions. Below you will find some general rental information and questions for your consideration as you begin to plan your event. Rental RatesRental rates are provided for Kuss Auditorium, the Turner Studio Theatre, the Hall of Honor and other areas in our facility. Miscellaneous or additional costs are provided but can only be estimated based upon your event needs. Rates are subject to change. What is the date and time of your event?We begin reserving our facility approximately one (1) year in advance. We require a minimum of sixty (60) days confirmation in advance of your event. The Center is dark (not available for rental) during the months of July and August. PLEASE NOTE: Our Calendar of Events on this site and www.pactkts.com lists only the public events that take place at the Center. What may be perceived as "unused dates" does not constitute or guarantee availability. Please contact the House Operations Manager for specific details on availability. What type of event are you planning?We do not have banquet facilities on-site at the Performing Arts Center. Therefore, we are unable to take reservations for wedding receptions, high school proms, reunions, etc. What is the approximate number of people attending?Kuss Auditorium | Seats 1,500 Are there other events planned at the same time?The Performing Arts Center maintains communications with a wide variety of other groups with regard to their schedules. We will be happy to share with you the activities and events that we are familiar. This is not to deter you from renting the facility, but will help you to best plan your event around other possible area conflicts/events. Do you wish to have concessions?The Performing Arts Center holds a liquor license that allows the sale of beer, wine, and liquor in the Davidson Grand Lobby (including the 2nd and 3rd Floors). The Concessionaire also provides snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The Center has a contracted Concessionaire to provide these services at no direct charge to you. Food and drinks are not permitted in the Kuss Auditorium or the Turner Studio Theatre. Do you have a Non-Profit or Commercial status?This information determines the estimated rental expenses involved with your event. Proof of your organization’s non-profit status (i.e. 501(c)(3)) is required. Will you sell tickets or will we sell tickets for you?Our Ticket Office offers a wide-variety of ticketing services, including online sales and a toll free number. What are your technical and set-up needs?This will include your stage (i.e. podium & mic, chairs), backstage (i.e. dressing rooms, green room) and lobby needs (i.e. tables, banners, catering needs). Comprehensive details fully describing your needs will better enable the Performing Arts Center staff to provide the best quality service to you or your organization. Catering NeedsIf catering is needed for your event, you may contact any of the caterers listed on the Clark State Community College Approved Catering List. Renters cannot use a caterer that is not on this approved list. We will send you a copy of this list with your rental packet. Conference Services at Clark StateIn addition to the Performing Arts Center, Clark State Community College has many beautiful conference and reception facilities on its Leffel Lane and Downtown campuses.
