Facility Information

Built in 1993, the award-winning Clark State Performing Arts Center is situated on 5.5 acres in downtown Springfield. The 86,000 square foot facility houses rental space that is designed and equipped to accommodate musical performances, theatre presentations, conferences, business meetings and other activities.

You can reserve our beautiful 1,500 seat Kuss Auditorium, or our 200 seat Turner Studio Theatre, which accommodates our smaller events. You can find more detailed descriptions under Theatre Tech Specs.

For small parties, art shows and small receptions, you may reserve our elegantly furnished Hall of Honor or the Davidson Grand Lobby. Also available are the Community Rooms in the Albert A. Salerno Educational Center. The Community Rooms are equipped with operable walls that can enlarge or decrease the size of the area, and a kitchenette is adjacent. Four classrooms are also available.

Clark State has presented a diverse selection of artists. To see a list of these artists, click here (PDF).
